  1. Comment - A better Bing? Betanews 'Name That Search Engine' contest winners

    (Jun 5, 2009 - 5:01 PM)

    What silly winners!

Firstly, anyone who knows anything about the web knows that NARO is a terrible domain name: you'll lose a notable chunk of your audience to "narrow.com." And many will pronounce it "nah-ro."

RESULT may be the most boring name ever, congrats on that fantastic choice.

And MUSE may be the most over-named, marketing-speak search site on the internet. Why not just name it "Microsoft Windows Live Internet Search 2009, Personal Edition"?

Boo to all three. "Bing.com" has them all beat easily.

But for the fact that I love responding to silly comments, I would have ignored your sentence.

Actually the MBP does still have Firewire, so no problem there.

Ditto. Never had a Vista BSOD until today. Twice.

    Friggin iTunes 8.

You have made it abundantly clear that you have no idea what the hell you're talking about. Do you know ANYTHING about the Toolchain? Do you understand what iPhone hacking even is? There is no organized iPhone hacking unit. All iPhone hacking is public and available to all.

Some time ago, someone actually hacked into Paris Hilton's T-Mobile Sidekick. The iPhone has NO such issue. The only way to "hack" your phone - currently - is intentionally with physical possession of the device.

    Stop spreading lies.
