   Review - AVG Anti-Virus Free

   8.5.364a1545 (Jun 10, 2009)

   I've running AVG AntiVirus 8.5 Free edition without incidents on Windows 7. The only item of note is in the Windows Action Center. After installing AVG and doing a few Updates, I still get the red flag with the message "Update AVG Anti-Virus Free (Important)".
   
   i've done updates by clicking on the link in the Action Center and within the AVG application.

   Review - AOL for Windows

   9.1 Beta 7 (Oct 10, 2007)

   AOL is and has always been crapware! They constantly installed programs without the users knowledge or consent. Their own programs are big, bloated, and CPU/memory intensive.
   
   Avoid this program and any others like the plague!

   Review - ComiX

   0.1 Beta 5 (Dec 1, 2005)

   Great program. Some suggestions, when the Previous/Next buttons aren't available, make them grayed out, I clicked on Next after starting the program before realizing that I was at the end. Also, it could be nice if you could put a "x of y" label that tells the user where they are in viewing the comics. Last, does this program automatically check for new comics everyday? If so, it would be nice if the program had another label that said something like "x new comics are available."

4. Comment - LG Launches Microsoft-Powered DVR

   This looks like an interesting contender to Tivo and they sure could sure the competition. What I hope to see is that they meet but really beat Tivo in features plus that they have HDTV and dual tuner support, otherwise this new tech is just too pricey.

5. Comment - Testers Invited for Windows XP SP2 Beta

   I too would love to beta test Windows XP SP2 but I'm unsure as to how to sign up. Any information would be appreciated.
