  1. Review - cFosSpeed

    4.53 Build 1537 Beta (Aug 28, 2009)

    @Registered
    Another perspective is that this program is always being improved.
    If you don't like using beta versions with the risk of bugginess then don't install them - there's a stable release version on the cFos website.

    4.53 Build 1523 Beta (Jun 30, 2009)

    I'd disagree with Autobot; I'm not a gamer but use Cfos specifically because it allows me to browse and/or receive streamed video at the same time as using my torrent client.

    Anyone having problems should reduce total torrent connections to a max of 80 - shouldn't have any impact on torrent performance but (with Cfosspeed) should permit normal browsing etc.

  3. Review - K-Lite Codec Pack Standard

    4.9.5 (Jun 24, 2009)

    @da_yt_boi

    Just to explain ... I was referring to posts left by spammers directing people to a (presumably) fake k-lite download site. Fileforum moderators rightly removed the spam posts but not my response to them, hence the confusion.

    So I'm not actually ignorant, but you weren't to know.

  4. Review - Deluge

    1.1.6 (Apr 28, 2009)

    uTorrent (when I last used it) forced me to open my ip-blocker to BitTorrent inc in order to access the DHT.
    Given that there's no obvious need for this - and BitTorrent's links with the movie industry - that was good enough reason for me to use a different torrent client

  5. Review - Deluge

    1.1.0 (Mar 28, 2009)

    I'm now running release 1.1.5 and this application has improved massively since my previous post - stable, feature rich and a very clean interface. It's now my default torrent client.

  6. Comment - MPAA Employs Piracy-Sniffing Dogs

    1.1.0 (May 11, 2006 - 8:15 PM)

    Use the discs as cocaine sniffing surfaces first ... it'll drive the biches wild!
