   What's the point?
   This program makes YOU enter in the news servers to check. If you already know the name of the news server, why not just enter it into your news client? Maybe I'm missing some server list database file or something.

   Quit making a fool of yourself.. They never said _WHEN_ they were going to distribute RC1 to those who signed up for the preview program. This happened with Win98 as well, they'll give RC1 to those who signed up sometime AFTER RC2 is released.

   I myself am a Audrey Beta Tester. I'm not sure what this announcement is about; I've heard nothing about the Audrey coming back to life. Anyone else know anything about this?

   Yea I saw the same thing. But I'm pretty sure the patch is in Windows Update even on Pro machines. Better install to be safe.

   Good thing you announced this. I *almost* stopped making my daily visits to betanews.com because the last few weeks have bene so dead. Good to hear that BetaNews is back, and I love the new little graphics for the headlines. Wonder if we'll see more of that.
