  1. Comment - New Gates and Seinfeld ad: do you get it yet?

    (Sep 14, 2008 - 10:27 PM)

He spends his time and money vacinating the worlds children from diseases we don't even think about in our country. His Bill and Melissa Gates organisation has done more to save the lives of children in poor countries than ANY GOVERNMENT HAS EVER DONE. Comparing Bill Gates and the charitable work he does EVERY DAY to Paris Hilton is like comparing Mother Theresa to Lizzie Borden. Your limited facts and overwilling desire to speak about things you know nothing about are embarrasing to you and nobody else. Bill and Melissa Gates foundation, turn off TMZ and check out their website. Tripe crap...Jesus do you live in a hole?

Wow, some of you just DON'T get it!
Been here 12 years, and is under the car looking for the bad head gasket...(Jobs at Apple in areas he CLEARLY don't belong..)
The family's looking strange and disconnected...in the same old mold, but comfortable with it...even though it's the same thing they ate yesterday..(Just put some cheese on it)...AKA new! Apple OSX..whatever...
These ads are starting out pointed at the geek world...and I'm betting they are going a little more mainstream with time. I know i'm going to be searching them out in the future!
But at least this time the windows logo was on the gym bag!!

The song is "Mad world", Originally recorded by Tears for Fears, but the version you hear in the commercial is from a sound track to a recent movie, 2001's movie "Donnie Darko" and is performed by Gary Jules.

My friend, you could not even BE more right. When you play Gears, Play it two player, And then online with 7 other people head to head - There is NOTHING at all else like it! This one game shows off not only the power of the console and the fact it has more "available memory" than the PS3, but the great job MS has done in ASSEMBLING an awesome online community,(not just letting the game company kind of "put one together" for their respective games...) really shines through. this game can be played for a very long time, Simply because the plot changes with every new game played. If your not familiar, you can talk to your team mates to plan strategy - Until one of you die, then your taken out of the loop, You can however talk to the other DEAD players on BOTH teams, till the next game begins!
This foresite and delivery are matched by nobody, Xbox live is alone in the world. This combined with their large library of online enabled games is what gives their games the "Afterlife" online that NO other company has delivered to date. And, in my opinion, to make all my games fun to play after the single player campaign has been achieved for a small fee per month - Quite a bargain, you actually DO get what you pay for...Free is not always better...

  5. Comment - Nintendo Retracts One Million Wiis Promise, Outsells PS3 Anyway

I have had a 360 for about 8 months now, and I DO use it to stream TV and movies, to record TV and alot of other uses besides playing great games. anyone who buys one will learn all the other tricks this "Game machine" does in time. Since its conception, there have been alot of upgrades and new functions added that only a software giant like Microsoft can deliver. They are used to bringing a new product to market and backing it to be sure it remains viable and relative to a given market for some time, and expanding that market if need be. Their entry to this market has been the best thing to happen to gaming ever, I know, I have been a gamer since 1979 when I got my first Atari VCS. Their dedication to their products is something a hardware manufacturer is not used to at all. The normal "Build it, sell it, forget it" mentality is not theirs. This is why they upgrade the 360 when they feel it is necessary. Sony has NEVER been a good software company, and could NEVER beat MS in this reguard, I'm not sure theres a company out there who can. In summary I can say this, I have the 360. My brother has the PS3, Neither of us have a Wii ...(YET!) But over the last two weeks, My brother and his son have been "camped out" at my house playing Gears of War until I have to throw them both out!
The same can not be said of any of the PS3 titles so far, at least, not that we've seen as of yet!
