    Latest version takes over ten seconds to load on a 3GHz machine, which is completely unacceptable. This is most assuredly the best text/code editor available, but the ever-growing bloat costs it a star.

    Atrocious interface and a bit low on features, but not bad for free. Still, those in need of an FTP client would be better served by SmartFTP (freeware) or FlashFXP (shareware).

    I'd be interested to know what Mp3tag does that this doesn't. I've tested both programs on numerous occasions, and at the end of the day, I always come back to TagScanner. Cream of the crop here, folks.

    So, will tomorrow's release be a beta version? Or does beta status only apply to the Vista update? The article doesn't make this clear.
