  1. Review - Microsoft Windows Defender (32-bit)

    1.1.1051 Beta 2 (Feb 13, 2006)

I have been using MS Anti-Spyware Beta 1 for 4-5 months now without a whisper of a problem. It is efficient and works smoothely updating itself when required. I installed Beta 2 today 021305 and will report any anomalies or difficulties.

I have tried most of the anti-spyware programs available and the current MS Defender is my favorite. Even the price is right (after all they owe it to us to plug the leaks in the dams they built).

Right ON bourgeoisdude! The politics attached to the governance of the USA will fall into the hands of those who are the IT elite. Case-in-point: Chinese leader meets with Bill Gates and Boeing and Starbucks dudes THEN schlepps to DC to see "W". 1st on agenda is most important.......

  4. Comment - Can Microsoft Out-Google Google?

    1.1.1051 Beta 2 (Sep 10, 2005 - 12:00 AM)

I agree with PhoenixPath that 10,000 searches or results is inadequate.

The 10,000 search restriction won't hold water. If MS wants to compete with Google they will do what they have to. MS is concerned, IMHO, with scalability and is placing the restriction for fear of over-running their capacities.

  5. Comment - Google Talk Beta Scores High Marks

    1.1.1051 Beta 2 (Aug 25, 2005 - 1:21 AM)

RE: Google Talk - OMG - everybody duck! The giantslayer is going after SKYPE! Run AWAY!! hehe - As usual Google not only offers a superb (albeit not feature-rich) product right out of the box but they trump Skype and send The Boys from Redmond scurrying. MS is "ready" with "Office Communicator" but it's not for the masses only for Enterprise users.

It boggles the mind to consider what the Google Geeks might offer us next. Perhaps something in the way of RFID human tracking via sub-dermal injection?
