  1. Review - BulletProof FTP Client

    2.61.0.54 (May 1, 2008)

I'm not sure what the previous guy is talking about, the software never fails to function and after it's purchase; it will work forever. Mine has been running for over 9 years!

I'm always getting update notifications of new versions:

BTW: I think you're talking about BPFTP Server, not BPFTP Client. And BPFTP Server has a Portable Edition now for USB drives as well.

  2. Review - Titan FTP Server

    6.20 (Apr 22, 2008)

Another G6 clone and it's hideous "tree view" for organizing information. I love BPFTP, I'll stick with it; I just can't stand these "Microsoft Management Console" UIs.

  3. Review - GuildFTPd

    0.999.14 (Apr 22, 2008)

I'm a big fan of "Events", as "kmrdeva" mentioned in their posting. The ability to launch external programs when a File is Uploaded, Downloaded, Deleted or a User Logs In/Out, etc is huge for me. I have about 10 events hooked in my BPFTP Server and it's awesome to get emails, instant messages, etc when things happen. Love it.

  4. Review - Tftpd32

    3.23 (Apr 22, 2008)

FYI: TFTP is not that same as FTP. It stands for Trival-FTP and is a really simplistic protocol for routers and things to download firmware. I guess it does that well. But I need a real FTP Server, sucks that I downloaded this. Back to BPFTP Server.

  5. Review - Fastream IQ Web/FTP Server

    11.4.7 (Apr 22, 2008)

Wow! This is so over-priced at $329 USD that I want to be sick. Why on earth would you pay for the # of connections to the server. My BPFTP Server doesn't do this and is unlimited for a 1/10 of the cost. Come on.
