  1. Comment - Unconvinced by Windows 7? Ubuntu 9.10 debuted today!

    (Nov 1, 2009 - 8:27 PM)

I agree! However, we still have a while before the concept of using the browser as the OS to access "cloud" apps is the norm. Non-tech people want a device that instantly connects to the cloud with ONE BUTTON to access all of their apps. They don't want to know how or why it works, just that it does. When grandparents can do it without thinking about it, then it works. Until then, we're stuck with Windows vs OS X vs Linux.

  2. Comment - CES 'Better Questions' contest: Win Vista Ultimate, CS3, Zune and more

    (Jan 3, 2008 - 9:44 AM)

    Ask Microsoft:

When will true integration happen between Microsoft Entourage and Exchange Server? Also, when will users have the ability to import windows based .pst files into Entourage?

Richard Kmieciak is quoted from the Mac Mojo blog: "..an Exchange client on the Mac with features, performance, documentation, and reliability on par with Outlook." My question is this: Why not make a current Macintosh Version of Outlook? You had one before....

Please, no Mac vs PC comments! Grow Up!

  3. Comment - Microsoft Investigates Leak of Windows Source Code

    (Feb 13, 2004 - 7:16 AM)

Could we please just for once stop this crap with MAC vs PC? People will buy what they WANT to buy, not just because one is "better" than the other. In this day and age it's the perception of value that determines a consumer's choice to buy either a MAC or PC - not some opinion from a punk on the internet.

When the Windows source code is commonly available to rogue developers, I'm interested to see how this could effect the Linux community. I wonder if it would be possible to take the source code, recompile it under Linux, and have a true Emulator, or better intergration with Windows products on Linux. I know there's plenty of Windows Emulators on the market, however having something like this would make it seamless to the end user.
