MTv will suck the coolness out of this also. MTv is so not about what it orginally stood for. It sucks. It sucks major ass. I give atom films to suck in 4 months. Tons of stupid MTv ads everywhere and no independant thought.
Sorry for having thearpy here but MTv just sucks.

Stay on topic. damn
The "great" hackers that stay in the shadows and not go to the convention arnt really there. Dont get me wrong the black hat thing in vegas has some decent smart people. A lot of former hackers that know the code. Thats the key. There isnt many actual hackers in the scene anymore. There are a TON of script kiddies that use kits and scripts to do the work, while not knowing a damn thing about true rooting. As for M$ going there to say "hey break our s***" I think its great. M$ has allways felt they were above people and thier OS's were so great. Years of M$ being embarrssed have finally made them realize its time to admit they cant make a secure system. I think thats why Vista is taking so long. They have to have show somethin on this one or they risk a blacker eye. Linux is starting to make a move and apple is allways in the back slowly growing (mind you its a total of maybe 10%).

what is almost as funny as a apple computer is the aggorgance of the PC user. Come on, Apple is a big word for a Fisher Price computer!! let the 15 users of apple pay thier money and think they are so good.

bourgeoisdude- you have some vaild thoughts here but i disagree on this statement, "Since we do not KNOW, we should keep our mouths shut about it." Its the fact that we dont know is why we should ask. For us to not question our govt if its a liked govt or not is a bad thing. No matter how you feel about the president you should allways have a watchful eye. I voted for Clinton but when he got caught i was the first in line to question.
As to is Bush allways wrong? on paper yes, honestly no. If a member of his administration screws up it is Bush's fault. He hired him. Can he watch over everyone at all times? Of course not but he will get blamed.
The problem is when people point at him, the Bush people point back. You can't do that and be successful i think.
Bush or one of his people overstepped thier bounds by having the NSA get these records.
but that is my 2 cents also. I am not right and i am not wrong. This is what i beleive and i am in a country that allows me to do that.
