  1. Review - Vista Codec Package

    5.4.0 (Aug 27, 2009)

This Codec package works like a champ on your Legacy and New machines.
I tried that pack with the letter K. K must be for Krash.
Uninstalled and replaced with the Vista pack and never ran into any
    problems again.

The Vista Codec package is installed in every machine image I build.
    Keep up the great work!

  2. Review - Vista Codec Package

    5.0 Beta 3 (Oct 28, 2008)

    Great Codec pack!
I tried the K-Lite packs and had nothing but problems and crashes on various systems.

Switched back to ONLY using the Vista Codec
pack. I have had NO issues on any system
    I have installed them on.
    Keep up the great work!

  3. Review - Norton AntiVirus

    2008 (15.5.0.23) (Mar 21, 2008)

Norton has been bloat ware for many years now. We have been telling them for years we want Antivirus that does its job and doesn't bog down our machines. I guess their marketing depts know better whats best for us.
Everything Symantec gets their hands on turns into junk. I remember the days when Ghost fit on a floppy, then Symantec got a hold of it and turned it into bloat.

    Symantec are you listening???????
I give my money to other products because you
have failed to show me fast running products that do their job and take up limited resources.
Sure your making money off the newbies buying systems from BestBuy, but the rest of us know better!

AVG will continue to get my cash each year for our site license.

Great product, fast detection and removal,
    NOT a system hog.

  4. Review - AoA DVD COPY

    2.8.0 (Dec 31, 2007)

Great program for making archive backups of your DVD collection!

  6. Comment - Microsoft wows Windows 7 crowd with Internet TV

    3.1 (Oct 28, 2009 - 8:23 AM)

I was tired of the cable co's rental boxs and locked down dvr.

I setup a SageTV machine with HD200 boxs on each tv.
Not sure the MS offering will make me want to switch at all.

  7. Comment - Amazon may have gained Zappos, but it's losing Target

    3.1 (Aug 9, 2009 - 9:34 PM)

Goodbye! Got screwed over by Target and Amazon CSR's when they sent my daughter the
wrong size clothing. I have never used their online site again after the run around trying to order and the run around trying to get the order corrected.
I tell everyone I know how bad their site blows.

  8. Comment - Adobe: Microsoft's Silverlight 'has really fizzled'

    3.1 (Feb 11, 2009 - 11:01 PM)

MS pushed and pushed this program every time I went to their site for updates, etc. I gave in one day and was sorry I did.
Too many crashing issues. What a waste of my time.
I will Never install Silverlight again.
And I will make sure it is not installed in our IT images!

    I'll stick with Adobe.

  9. Comment - eBay warning: A cloudy Christmas weather forecast

    3.1 (Oct 16, 2008 - 11:59 AM)

If ebay would stop raising their transaction fees every year people would actually use them again. They nickle and dime you to get the post up there, then take their cut when the item is sold too. Ump Dat!

People would rather post on Craigslist for free
than spend all their profits in fees to ebay.

  10. Comment - Expert: public utilities may be at risk for hacking

    3.1 (Jun 13, 2008 - 8:59 AM)

This is old news. They posted about this months ago on /. slashdot.

If you still don't have your acts together, thats very sad. Does not make one sleep well at night knowing script kiddie and bring down the entire grid.
