8.0 Beta 2 (Aug 28, 2008)
The browser looks good, but it messed up my Office 2003. HTML mail font display in Outlook is suddenly tiny and can't be enlarged, and all the Office program dialog boxes are also reduced in size by about 50%.
This isn't the first time I've had one MS product mess up another one. Their own programs should at least get along with one another.
Will wait for further releases and try again.
3.0 Beta 3 (Feb 12, 2008)
Yeppers, what Paradise-FH- says is correct. It's essentially just another trunk, and it was released yesterday, the 11th, not today...

OK, here's the trick. You have to have i2P installed (available at http://sourceforge.net/p...les.php?group_id=137856). then when you get that installed and running, use the I2P tray control to select i2Phex as your browser. I'm giving it a 3 due to the lack of clarity in setting up, but if you read the documentation files, you'll find out what I just stated above. I also need to punch a hole in my router config - I have to bypass the router for now to get it to connect to the network, but that's not the fault of the program. Will have to play with it some, then will update my review.

I can confirm what httpd.confused stated in the previous review. I was initially pleased with the program when it was first released, but used it very conservatively. The more I changed settings, the more jacked up my machine became. Once, on a friend's PC, I made a single change: "Remove Shared Folders", and that worked, but it screwed up a couple of other things in the process. Things DO get changed that you aren't even aware of, some of which took me a while to discover. Safer, in my opinion, to find out the specific registry edits needed to achieve the desired system changes.

I've used Daisy for the last 4 months or so. I was sold the first time I ran it, and it found 3 hotfixes that Wimp-dows Update missed. I have messenger disabled, but would simply start it manually to run Daisy. That's no longer neccesary; Thanks, joeuser99, for the switch info!

I agree. I've been a Dish customer for several years, but I'm looking seriously at dumping them for AT&T U-verse, which just became available in my area, or even, God forbid, Time-Warner. Verizon's not available in my city, or I'd be jumping on their deal.
Also, the fact that they charge extra for local channels is absurd, especially with the impending switch to digital in '09. They're the only provider I know of that does that.

You can use Michael Howard's "DropMyRights" to safely browse and read email while running as an administrator. Very easy to do!

Due to it being a little overzealous with its blocking, I disabled it. Firefox now loads, but freezes, and then eventually crashes.

Yup, same problem with staus bar here. It usually disappears afters a bit of navigation, then I have to go to "View", uncheck status bar, then re-check it and it starts showing up again.
