10.0 Build 1345 Alpha (Mar 16, 2009)
Simply the best browser. I just use iexplorer for the FEW sites that do not display correctly with Opera.
1.2.3 Beta 5 (Jan 28, 2009)
This is a true 'WOW". Add QT adress bar and spend 5 minutes to configure it and you'll end up with most of the best of added functionality other Windows Explorer replacements offer. I'm amazed at how much customization is being squeezed out of Windows Explorer. I now have a breadcrumb adressbar, gridlines in the main window, fully configurable tabs, a wonderfull subdir tool and more all within xp's own explorer. Oh, as a finishing touch, add foldersize 2.4 to top it off. Last but not least, Quizo is constantly developing his apps and he takes (feature) requests too! P.S other that the initial slowdown by foldersize's calculation, the QT has not slowed down explorer a bit. Stability is top too.
5.0 Beta 9 (Dec 25, 2008)
Totally awesome for what it is supposed to do. The low rating makes me wonder...sabotage?
9.00 Build 8501 (Jun 21, 2006)
The best browser gets even better. I think most of the new stuff is wellcomed. And i know, many of these features will (again) be copied by the other browsers. Someone needs to read the manual first though in order to better understand the Opera, there's a whole orchestra of stuff crammed in there.
My major gripe is the one about the rendering (or non rendering) of some sites. I dont give a rat's behind if a site violates this and that of the wcw or other standards, i just want Opera to be able to display this site correctly as most other browsers do. For those rare instances that a site is non-renderable in Opera i keep ff and ie as backups, but thank Gawd, i only have to use them (ptui ptui ptui!) rarely.
