  1. Review - Mandriva Linux

    2006.1-0.3 Beta (Apr 10, 2006)

The link for available Iso's is restricted and not available to "joe linux user". If you work for Mandriva, which is obvious, since you link to a mandriva only post.
    How credible is your review?

Don't get me wrong, I like Mandriva and the previous
Mandrakes...but to blatently post a link for iso's not available to an average user is a waste of time.

  2. Comment - MS Recruits Outsiders for Patch Testing

  3. Comment - MS Recruits Outsiders for Patch Testing

    2006.1-0.3 Beta (Jan 14, 2005 - 10:37 PM)

I have beta tested products and software for AOL,McAffee, several linux distro's, IBM and WINzip.

Microsoft must use some criteria that is different than others in the computer industry. Have requested several times to test some of their products to no avail.

Maybe its because my computer is just too old ,sort of like me,that they don't take me seriously.

But, until , it dies ...it still a good Pentium II 300 mhz.

it dies why buy another? It is still a good old Pentium II.

  4. Comment - Report: Apple to Debut Sub-$500 iMac

    2006.1-0.3 Beta (Dec 30, 2004 - 11:28 AM)

I think that Mac should enter the average user market with a sub $500 price I-Mac.

OSX is based on BSD and is a very good operating ystem.

Also,"Yellow Dog Linux" runs extremely well on the newer i-mac products.

If it was available now , I might consider replacing my old Pentium II with windows XP professional and Mandrake 10.1 with OSX and yellow dog linux!!

    Go APPLE!!!

  5. Comment - Novell Launches Linux Desktop 9

    2006.1-0.3 Beta (Nov 13, 2004 - 12:05 AM)

Novell's Linux will be a welcome addition to the other fine distros such as Mandrake,Redhat, and Suse.
Has any one wondered why "Big Blue" has "hitched their star to Linux".
Simply because it is the future of computing. I don't know of a thing you can do in windows that you can't in Linux except "Kids Games". You might just have to think a little to accomplish what you want..and thats not all bad.
