  1. Review - VMware Fusion

    Beta 4 Build 48339 (Jun 11, 2007)

I have been running this since beta 2. Things run great. Since its created by vmware, any machine you create works with with VMware server. The os' run fast and without crashing.

DudeBoyz... make sure you have installed the vmware tools, this will greatly increase mouse and video quality.

  2. Comment - Details emerge on Psystar suit, Apple wants recall

    Beta 4 Build 48339 (Jul 17, 2008 - 10:03 AM)

One thing that most people forget is that Apple is not a software company like Microsoft. They are rooted in hardware. They want to sell ipods, iphones, Macbooks, etc. They just make the software to allow you to use that hardware. Both Microsoft and "linux" companies have designed their software to run on different types of hardware. Even though it looks the same, their motives are completely different.

  3. Comment - Details emerge on Psystar suit, Apple wants recall

    Beta 4 Build 48339 (Jul 17, 2008 - 9:54 AM)

The hardware is not "apple" labeled. But the software is. Its all about the TOS, Terms of Service. It states specifically in aggreement when you open up your copy of OSX. This software can only be installed on Apple branded hardware. These days you don't own software your rent it. Theoretically any provider can revoke your license and not allow you to use it. Microsoft does this with Genuine Advantage BS.

  4. Comment - Texas Sues Sony BMG Over CD Rootkit

    Beta 4 Build 48339 (Nov 22, 2005 - 11:57 AM)

I think Sony needs to get sued for these reasons:

    1. False advertising. These "CDs" are on the shelves next to non-DRM "CDs". If a music disc has software on it, it is not a Compact Disc anymore. It does not meet Compact Disc standards.

    2. They install the DRM software BEFORE you agree to the EULA. So you have no chance of opting out. Yes, you can choose not to use it, but the damnage has been done.

    3. The average user is not smart enough to know you to secure there pc again. Most don't even know that holding down the s*** key while inserting the music disc, will temporary disable autorun.

  5. Comment - Apple Unveils 20-inch iMac, Dual Power Mac

    Beta 4 Build 48339 (Nov 25, 2003 - 3:11 PM)

Just to add another log on the fire......

Mac OS X is by far one of most stable and functional OS's on the market... I use OS X, Windows XP and GNU/Linux(Gentoo) all equally. I have found that OS X is not simplistic, it just works. Yes there is a nice candy coating on top.
