Contrary to what the descriptions says about Adblock Plus, you should NOT use the Filterset.G Updater.
Read the FAQ at their website:
http://adblockplus.org/en/faq_project#filterset.g
"Filterset.G has been intentionally made incompatible with the built-in subscriptions feature in Adblock Plus, updating Filterset.G requires a separate extension which basically duplicates existing functionality."
RC2 Build 5744 (Oct 8, 2006)
I suppose the user experience with this BETA software will be dependant on what hardware they have installed on their machine.
For me, Vista RC2 is excellent. Upon first use, I was a bit thrown off due to the changes to the interface, but the more I use it, the more I am getting comfortable with how they want me to use it.
Everything is running great on it with the exception of my network card. I got it working, but it was basically shoving a square peg into a round hole. Until official drivers are released, I can't expect anything more.
The Media Center acts very wonky, with the screen flashing very quickly, but I really don't have a use for it at this time, so that's no big deal. I reckon it’s probably just a video driver problem.
Other than that, I see no reason why I can't use RC2 full time until the release is out. Microsoft has really pulled it together and Vista should make a fine addition to the Windows team once some left over annoyances are fixed and more drivers are released.
2.0 Alpha 2 (May 15, 2006)
It appears the memory issue is fixed. I've had it open for a few hours now and I've been running WoW as well. It's using 30 megs of ram, rather than 300 which Firefox usually ends up taking..
Plus it has spell check in message forms! What's not to love?
Had some crashes; mostly when media player is running in a webpage. Other than that, seems very stable.

There's nothing not to like with this program. I dare say it's the perfect BT client.

You mean 1 million + copies of Uncharted Sold? Yah, clearly no one bought them.

Where was the outage over the game Fable where you could actually take a male as a domestic partner?
Idiots.

What Felix says is correct. Hardly anyone uses AOL overseas. I'd say the majority uses MSN.
I've been to Amsterdam many times and not a single person used AIM. Everyone used MSN. I'm sure the experience is the same in most countries.

The Stern effect that everyone said had faded continues to roll on strong!
I highly doubt that Oprah is going to bring in any subscribers to XM. She'll have as much do to with that channel as Eminem has to do with Shade45.
O&A have proven to be a failure. There's no other reason why they went back to "FreeFM" other than to offer a 2-3 hour commercial for XM. Ain't workin' boys.
The one thing that XM does have going for themselves is their hardware. Generally better than Sirius, but that should hopefully change this summer when Sirius releases true portable players.
Yes, I am a fanboy.
1.1.8 RC1 (May 24, 2006 - 12:45 PM)
Vista is not yet available to the public.
