1.2 Beta (Jun 12, 2008)
I agree with ninjeratu's review. Everything stated is indeed a fact.
I gave it a 4 because it implemented itself into Vista 64 with no hitch. Mail, contacts and cal came in fine for me.
Fonting is not great, so I'll look to future versions to correct this. For me however, the major problem with this program was the backing up to .eml! Why?
This too I hope will be fixed, or this programs adoption rate will not get far.
Other than that, it is fast, small, lite on resources and mirrors Outlook without the hassles.
7.0.1.220 (Sep 20, 2007)
Don't know how to rate this release, but if you are running Vista64 & have KIS 700125 already installed, do not use. My system crashed and burned..safe-mode, restore ... nothing but a full fledged Acronis System Restore could get me back.
I can't say this will happen to you but use caution with this release. Otherwise, KIS has been great.
5.11 (Jun 21, 2007)
This is by far the absolute best download manager
I have ever used! Believe me when I say I have used them all. As for the interface....who cares, its a download mgr., not Vista!
2.0.2.1360 RC3 (Jun 18, 2007)
I Love this version 2 RC3....It has been stable, reliable and most important to me, all plug-ins work great! Last version I used, vers 1.6 was anything but, particularly within any version of Vista.
0.10.2 (May 12, 2007)
Looked Again and still say Who needs This Junk? Have you seen the offerings...its pure crap! The software is also clunky and there are better FREE services elswhere to boot!
