    2.3 Build 610 Beta (Apr 4, 2007)

Excellent, stable, download manager. As far as Firefox integration goes if it doesn't work for you try the add-on FlashGot and tell it to use FreeDownloadManager, works great. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/220

  2. Review - AcqURL

    7.3 (Jan 9, 2007)

This program has good potential but it needs work. I experienced too many bugs with it i.e crashes if you select another bookmark folder right after an export, you think it's done but nope, no wait cursor; button text out of margins; doesn't handle bookmark folder tree well ; limited to 20 bookmarks per column, if you have 83 bookmarks in a folder it creates an additional folder with those last 3 in it, after export I edited to add the last 3.

  3. Review - OpenOffice.org for Windows

    2.0.164 (Apr 27, 2006)

I like Open Office and have been using it exclusively for about a year. It does a good job converting MS formated documents.

  4. Review - 8Signs Firewall

    2.30 (Mar 19, 2006)

I've been using this for a few years now while periodically trying out what else is available. Highly configurable while being fairly simple to setup but I don't feel this is suitable for a novice. Rock solid and reliable. Excellent Support from 8signs. They have my blessing and dollars for it.
