Lean mean IM machine. I gotta say I really like it. Get's out of the way and does everything I need it to do. I don't need video or audio or emoticons. I just need it to get down to business.

Funny, think some of the sites that required IE 6 to run properly are not running now on 7. I've been playing with it under XP Pro SP2 and Vista. Well I'm sure the would run fine but their browser detect tells me to update my browser. Hmmm for now I'll stick to Firefox 2.0 and update to 7.0 when it has had some time to mature.
Works well though so it gets 3 out of 5 due to some quirks.

GSM/CDMA/EVDO/DOCOMO hybrid handset.
Avialable in white or black.

Yeah, I like this move. Rebates suck for the majority of consumers. I prefer the upfront price.

It's time to pack in a free or low coast upgrade coupon in the box.
I know I've put off my family and friends PC purchases untill Vista launches. With the upgrade pricing being what it is it just makes more sense for us to wait.
Give me a cheap/free upgrade path and I'll help ring the cash register this holiday.

I have to agree with exceleon. THe problem I've seen is that in the past when a Linux option was offered it was either a very low end or very high end version. THe machines also tended to be more then their Windows counterparts.
In the end people just buy the Windows version and then install Linux on the same machine for less money.

Hmmm let's take a look at Netcraft and look at uptime. Of the top 50 sites I see two running running Microsoft. One 2000 and one 2003. The rest are all running Apache and a flavor of BSD and one Linux hold out. Gee which is OS X built on top of? I believe it it's BSD.
