When it comes down to it, it doesn't matter who wins or looses, it all matters if you enjoy what you have. Right now the XBOX 360 is a more "valued" console than the PS3, however that may change, as does everything in this world. If you always based your life on maybes or what ifs, you'd have a pretty sad life.
Go have fun, stop being thuds and buy what you want to buy. :)

hah, it's even better when you don't have to spend the money on it. grand when work pays you to "play" with new tech.

the point is, just because there's no power in that area, doesn't mean that people don't want to still get to the servers hosted in that datacenter.
If you have servers in a colo without generated power and redundancy you're an idiot. Colo is much more than just where to put your servers, they're suppost to be buildings that are earthquake, fire, hell on earth, resistant, not to mention have highspeed fiber connections.

although, moding the console is no illegal as when you buy a peice of hardware you can modify it any way you please. Selling the two together is the problem. To get around this, you can sell the console, the chip, and then the service to install the mod chip ;)
