Good software design and intention, but I had a few key problems:
1> Couldn't handle Font-face issuance from Trillian users. Not sure about AIM users.
2> Wasn't able to properly parse away messages from Trillian users, not sure about AIM users.
3> Their client needs a keep-alive, I was kicked off AIMs servers at some points, when on other machines using Trillian I stayed on just fine.
4> Needs a message history header you can modify. For instance after each message my logs have [Machine Name] [Date] [Time] [Name]: [body]..
Other than that it looks promising.. I wouldn't necessarily go as far to call it a Release candidate though.

No problems.. Maybe it'll fix some issues under .NET Server 3590 as well.. This is the first time there's been a PCI IDE Driver under Windows XP.. This is also the final of 4.36V.. The new build will be 4.37V.

You can save the songs from the service (it's called the Love button, a Sirius-ism) without using Yahoo or a computer. You can also tag songs to buy via Yahoo. You will supposedly eventually be able to buy from Yahoo using your Stiletto without a computer. The Stiletto supports Wifi, so it can stream and interact (and firmware upgrade) via WiFi instead of using a computer. It also has a regular traditional Satellite receiver, so it can be used with the sats for On the Go use.
People really need to read the specs and maybe even the manual before making assumptions.

To be honest my local locals are garbage, especially the advertising. I'd love it if I could get NBC/CBS/FOX/ABC/PBS from NY and LA instead.
I get FOX E/W right now via Dish Network because our local FOX Affiliate doesn't have an actual broadcast structure, they're purely a cable based entity. DirecTV has changed their eligibility as result of this FOX station, so new customers can't get FOX on the sats.
As it goes, I'm grandfathered with Dish and my brother is with DirecTV (both NOW claim no distant locals for here at all). I'm certain we're not the only ones grandfathered. Sure, the NAB b****es about this, but I don't watch the other locals because they're not in my Dish Network guide. Too bad for them.
There's many people that put in a different physical address than their billing address so they can get distant networks. I don't blame these people, though I bring myself to do the same.
I've long argued that the Satellite TV carriers should be allowed to have one set of locals for each time zone of a major market. We would have MUCH more capacity for better quality SD as well as more diverse HD offerings. Having all of these markets on the birds is a bad use of satellite space.

XPlane (www.x-plane.com) is hands down much better than MSFS will ever be, also runs on Mac and Linux. With full imagery (7 dual-layer DVDs total), it runs about 69 bucks.
It also already supports net flight, etc. even cross platform.

Very happy with my beta kit.. Some cosmetic issues but it's stable and better than my 802.11a Proxim hardware (which I hate with a passion).. Admittedly this is 802.11b but I can be out by the truck with it..
I'll be happy to own one after the beta is over, I'll replace my godawful Homeportal 1000 with it. :)
