It is configurable, but you have to know where to look to change the settings.
3.2.1.0 (Apr 9, 2004)
Don't you love it when people try to make the world a better place by offering freeware that's this good? The design is not only great, but everything about it is great. I'd suggest this if you don't want to spend $$$ on anything. If you do want to spend $$$ on something, then donate =-D

"Well, it is interesting to see how many FileForum logins the author of Total Commander has created, to post phony reviews. Confusing objectivity and subjectivity is a point that he should work on, however."
Inless you have proof that it's him, shut the frek up. That is not a review of the program. I also doubt ,with other users, that he would have time to post on sites like these. I personaly don't use the program, but have tried it and found it very good-if you want to use it. And no, I'm not the maker, because I have no idea how to do the smallest bit of coding.
2.0 SR1 Beta 12 (EPX 1.0.34.0) (Apr 9, 2004)
I'm glad they updated it now. The older version was starting to wear off. As for if it harvest e-mails, you probably get spam from signing up with that ???? site last week :p And no it doesn't get your password because wouldn't they change it if they did? That way you couldn't log in? Duh.
5.5.3588 Beta (Apr 9, 2004)
If AOL would make AIM like they do the built in Instant Messenger in AOL, then they might get somewhere. I also think AOL does get a little bad publicity. I bet some people write reviews and they haven't used it since after v.X came out and there wasn't a big change.
As for me, I'll stick to using the AOL client until they do fix AIM up. I will admit that MSN Messenger is better.

Please DO NOT talk and put biased opinions here. That is your opinion only, not the view of a group. Also, by the way you put it, you are NOT a Microsoft developer, or in marketing. I doubt you are in with Microsoft at all. As said before by several users (Quoting one in particular)
"Microsoft has advised it will NOT charge for the "Reloaded" update. It will include Windows Media Player (WMP) 10 and update kit apparently will include a Web-based installer application that will let users choose optional features."
It will not be a ME. It will consist of nothing but the Windows XP baseline and a preview of Windows codename 'Longhorn'. As Microsoft has spent the last 3-4 years since there last release of a Windows software, they are sending out this new version, free or not, to give people a taste of Longhorn. This is only to boost sales when Longhorn is released.
ME was supposedly an upgrade of Windows 98, but nearly nothing was implemented into that new version. This could lower groups rating of Microsoft. Whatever the reason, Microsoft may be trying to 'redeem' themselves in the public eye by showing off this 'new version' to let us know that they are doing something, and to make up for last time.
5.5.3588 Beta (Mar 5, 2004 - 3:37 PM)
It's not going to be an ME. It's Windows XP 'Reloaded'. Based off of Windows XP.
This will included a version of SP2, and 'some other extras' only in this version. ME turn out to be much of a downfall until Microsoft soon unveiled the Windows XP software. Since this software included a newly revamped version of Windows, many people turned yet again to put their money where there heart is. By releasing Windows codename 'Longhorn' in Alpha/Beta stages, Microsoft already stood up and said they were not going back and were going to continue to stick with the Windows XP baseline.

We don't care.

I kinda think Microsoft came out with this to get more people to buy Windows XP. I have XP now and like it a lot better than 98. As for Apple being better, I'm not sure. I'd really like an Apple, but not yet. As for Windows being the best, I'm not sure about that either. There are TONS of things that can go wrong, and a lot of things ,up until this next update, made it worse. I sounds like it'll be good, but as I've learned with any company, don't get your hopes up. I'm actually glad that they are working on XP. I feel they didn't work too much on 98, or Me, and I hope they decide to stick with XP awhile before they go and and make a new version.
