Exactly, Microsoft made their operating system, why should they have to let other people install crap that slows it down? Applications can easily be preinstalled using existing OEM tools.
I guess you can think of this one of t wo ways. Microsoft is like the engine to a car, they have to let the customer decide who they want gas and spark plugs and such from. Or, Microsoft is like an artist who is required to let other people to paint on his painting before selling it.

This doesn't mean that the PS3 and cell servers will be in any way compatible. It just means that IBM wil be able to produce a lot more chips. bringing the price per chip down, which should help the PS3 turn a profit sooner.

Definitely time to invest in Vonage, while they're losing lots of money and turning no profit. There stocks should be pretty low because of that, and once they get more customers the stocks should go back up.

Once they released an earlier version of the program under GPL, they can't change the license of their earlier version that is floating around, so this will have no impact at all, as most people use 3rd party BT clients.
