  1. Review - µTorrent for Windows

    1.7 Build 2922 Beta (Jun 26, 2007)

The best bittorrent client ever gets better, shame the beta testers commenting here haven't got a clue what they're talking about.

Anyone who rates this as 1 or 2, go cut your own throat, your useless and knowone loves you :)

  2. Review - STOPzilla

    4.4.30 (Nov 15, 2006)

'nefarious1' you must clearly work for these guys, or smoke huge amounts of crack while reading 'windows for dummies'. I mean, $5,000...come on.

Either way, seek help. This is a joke of a program, uselessly effective the install size should give that away and the thing produces more false positives than any other anti-spyware program i've ever used.

Stop Zilla sucks. Shame on the admin for the attention.

  3. Review - DirectX Redistributable

    August 2006 (Aug 6, 2006)

well clearly 'smarterthanyou' isnt smarter than anyone. unlucky buddy. directx 'aug' release is simply an update to the previously released directx 9, notice there is a 'C' next to it.

also vista will be shipped with directx 10 so they ain't gonna change the number.

    a worthy system update.

  4. Review - Norton Internet Security

    2007 Beta (10.0.0.1) (Jul 13, 2006)

just to add on from where dear Zankur left off. it not the lightest version of norton internet security ever released, i think you'll find the first one will be the lightest due to there was no functions to start off with, let alone no security.

granted that this is a beta project, everyone seems to have this fascination with beta products being completely un-useable, but in actual fact, that it what the release candidates and the alpha's are for. beta's should be stable enough to run effectively, and are designed to pull out minor bugs and missed major ones.

not ones right off the bat. like you get when you do try 2007.

i have catalogued over a dozen major problems with this release, and too many minor ones to mention.

symantec's only hope to rebuild the app was to re-invent the interface (granted), but they were to also fix memory issues and improve heuristics. they have done neither.

why blow twice the resources on a brandname. fact, kaspersky and nod32 will do both a better, faster job with less resources.

while however the junior does need an intergrated solution, norton also falls short. bitdefender, trend micro and zonealarm all offer better intergration and protection.

and to cap it all off, i'll be buggared with a pitchfork before i pay $30 per call for tech support!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. Review - Microsoft Private Folder

    1.0 (Jul 8, 2006)

    ok where to start.

firstly, this is too little, too late.

windows 98 should have had a private folder/file encryption functionality but it didn't, nor 2K, nor really XP, i know it does, but it's pathetic.

private folder is too little, too late.

using it for just five minutes i found out icon caching problems, weak encryption on the password schema, plus who the hell is gonna trust Microsoft with their private files?

WGA phoning home, this app needs WGA?

    no fu**ing thanks.

  9. Comment - New RealPlayer Downloads Video Clips

    1.0 (Jun 5, 2007 - 11:06 AM)

    your all completely wrong.

    why?

because out of all the players in the game, Real was late with open source, its own formats, and version after version of pure crap.

yet they survived. realized their mistake, and with a better multimedia player than microsoft, apple and adobe. they can only win by this decision.

so moan away all you want boys, in a year if you don't use VLC, then Real it'll be!

  10. Comment - Sony Reports Successes with PS3 Folding@home

    1.0 (Apr 29, 2007 - 10:27 AM)

only scumbags like you see $'s everywhere. "if it don't make money it isn't a success"

    what a retarded view.
