0.2.8 (Nov 1, 2005)
I still remember the early days when it first was announced, released and displayed ... tried it on my VMWare and it ran... didn't look much at it until now.
It has come quite far, and I must admit ... the future is looking bright ;)
I'm having this installed on me old, old NT4 server, see how it performs there.
1.1.8 RC1 (Oct 31, 2005)
Gasp! It's close to 100kb in filesize, unforgivable!
Well not really, it just gets better and better, now if I were to be a millionare I would donate a few cents ;P
2.0 Final (Oct 28, 2005)
It's finally here, it gets the rating of 5, I would however give it a 4 because VS2005 isn't final yet. But that diesn't matter right now.
So I downloaded both the SDK and Framework, and I'm quite happy with it so far, with some work I managed to migrate my old 1.1 code and whoopdeedoo, it seems to run smoother than ever.
Now, if only I could have VS2005 this very instant.
1.1.6.1 (Oct 19, 2005)
And I just got around to install the previous version, which I thought was the superior BT client.
It only gets better.
2.0.50727.26 RC Redistributable (Oct 18, 2005)
It's still dated ... old and Beta 2 over at Microsoft. So I have no idea, wether to 'upgrade' or not.
I have personally tested writing 1.1 applications with .Net Studio 2003 and testing them on seperate machines, one with this 'latest' 2.0 version, works almost without flaws, but the 1.1 applications require some tweaking to work at 100%, compatibility is nice.
.Net Framework 2.0 receives a 3 because it's not final yet ;P
2.0.50727.26 RC Redistributable (Oct 27, 2005 - 7:06 PM)
All I need now is VS 2005 and I'm set for life.
