@ cowgar: why on earth do you start a "thread" about nero burning rom, telling us how good this app is and then expose yourself being a dunderpate by rating imgburn 1 star, just for being an application you don't know how to handle or explain it to your friends.

oic - you said, you don't burn a lot. why burning at all? go and buy yourself a
16 GB usb stick...

authors putting more effort in anti-piracy protection than in making their software better. indeed it has some nice features, but i can't rate higher than "2". a burning program should not mess up the OS it's running on (well, this especially seems to apply to certain chipset / driver combinations). that dinosaur cdrwin never let me down, no matter how messed up the system was. alcohol itself is unstable, i'm sorry to say that.

on my gaming-leeching-try-out-freeware machine which i also use for surfing here and there (sometimes WOT can't stop me opening a site) i recently decided to scan the whole thing.
congratulations said spybot, no threads found.
eeeeek! said asquared, 447 threads found, over 10 of them calssified as viruses,
the rest was malware, badware, adware madware.
i know that this program is not perfect either and sometimes shows up false alarms. anyway i rate this "5"
concerning spybot i am a bit confused now, as this one was one of my favourite tools in the past. hmmmm...
Review - Orbit Downloader

i installed 4 or 5 different freeware dl-managers. orbit was not the worst thing of them all but i can only rate 3. i did not like how the feature of accelerated downlod works and it has many things that getright does much better (which i actually should not compare with, as getright is not freeware.)
