  1. Comment - Why rumors of an AT&T 3G iPhone 'discount' don't add up

    (Apr 30, 2008 - 10:09 PM)

"However, in a first for any iPhone carrier, the price would be subsidized by $200 for those who purchase it from the company's stores." This statement makes no sense. For one thing, there is only one iPhone carrier, AT&T. Another thing, if this is a typo, and they meant to replace iPhone with just phone, then it still doesn't make sense. Whenever you buy a phone with a contract, you can pay what, $50-$100, or even get some phones free (because the phone is subsidized) Now, if you were to buy the phone straight up (with no contract, or if you didn't have phone insurance and your phone broke), its like $300.

  2. Comment - Universal details its Blu-ray plans for the summer

    (Apr 19, 2008 - 1:41 AM)

Lol...all you blu-ray users enjoy paying for your overpriced movies...I will enjoy picking up my HD DVD movies for under $10, not to mention my player only cost $50...lol. I chose my format after it was over, and it was HD-DVD.

  3. Comment - Comcast offers 50 Mbps Internet, but it won't come cheap

    (Apr 3, 2008 - 10:16 PM)

Lol. If HD Movies are 4GB, why do we need blu-ray again, can't they just put these 4GB HD Movies on regular dvds. Last time I checked, DVD's hold 9GB. Oh wait, I forgot that these are Comcast's "HD" media. We already know they compressed the crap of the movies.

  4. Comment - Dell releases first sub $1,000 Blu-ray laptop

    (Mar 30, 2008 - 10:09 PM)

I think this is really remarkable since it gives you a blu-ray burner. The only problem, is that the burner is probably slow as crap, and it would still probably be beneficial to wait for cheaper, faster drives to come out later. Not to mention way cheaper blank media as well.

  5. Comment - TiVo's 'best performance yet': almost breaking even

    (Mar 8, 2008 - 11:11 PM)

Amway owned Dish Network? What is that....Dish network and Directv are owned by the same company.

I agree though, Tivo is one of the biggest rippoffs ever. Paying for a guide service is crap when there are so many services that are better and free.
