6 Update 13 (Mar 24, 2009)
Hmm,installed with no problem, never had a problem with Java.
3.1.0 RC2 (Oct 12, 2008)
I have used this app since the first Beta release, while I found some of the early Beta 2's were pretty buggy,it has improved with time.I have never had this program cause any problems other than the GUI freezing, except for Beta 2.0.3 freezing my computer forcing a restart, other than that I like this app,but as with any program that plays with the registry a certain amount of respect is necessary, seems to me that if this app causes major problems, then maybe they were already there.
Spring Beta (May 13, 2008)
Works fine for me,very interesting app. much better than Celestia. Tons of info. If Astronomy is your thing get this program right away,it is worth it.
Final (Apr 29, 2008)
Hmm,nothing new.If you have already installed all the updates what is the point of all this?
2008.3.28 (Mar 29, 2008)
Eric.de.Heer : Now I don't complain unless I have a good reason to do so,and Soundbase gave me reason
to question the quality of the sound that was coming out of my speakers,it is not the first app to do that ,and I am sure it will not be the last.In side by side testing of these 2 apps,Music Jukebox displayed superior sound quality, period.I have been involved in music in one form or another, both in the making and reproduction of music.I know superior sound when I hear it.I did not say that SoundBase was not a good program,I simply stated that I did not care for the quality of sound.

Reading all these posts I see we have two camps, the downloading is bad vs the downloading is good, one on each side of the fence throwing rocks at each other, seems to me that is how war was invented.Nobody has even attempted to study why is so called pirating so prevalent, why don't we try to find a solution that will be agreeable to all parties instead of the elephant in the china shop approach that the RIAA and it's ilk have taken, sure lets sue everyone who has even thought of downloading something that might, maybe, possibly be not exactly black or white. This is a very complex issue that people are attempting to distill to a few basic assumptions. The brave defenders of the copyright golden goose have not kept up with technology, some might say on purpose, stealing from artists etc. is nothing new,if you research bands from the early years of rock you will find that many if not most were screwed out of money by the people that now are the so called champions of copyright,so lets cool the hostility fest, the internet has opened a whole new world so lets be very careful about we legislate and be sure that we do not allow people or countries,to dictate what we should or should not be doing with no checks and balances,or following like sheep. File sharing has plenty of very positive purposes,so lets not throw out the baby with the bathwater.
