  1. Review - RealSpeed

    0.70.30 (Sep 1, 2009)

Sorry dhry, but even loving the work of Mark Russinovich with Process Explorer, as far as I know, it does not show real CPU speed in real time. It shows (among dozens of useful information) CPU load percent and so on, but that has nothing to do with the CPU speed.

  2. Review - 3DP Chip

    9.01 Beta 12 (Jan 15, 2009)

I know what a beta is, but after launching the program, no hardware detection was made.

If manually clicked on Update, then a Windows Explorer to the desktop is opened, clicking on driver, would open the same Windows Explorer, and selecting Q&A would crash the application.

  3. Review - AntiVir Personal Edition for Windows

    8.2.00.337 (Dec 31, 2008)

After two years of a paid NOD32 user, I migrated to Avast!, and some weeks ago, to AntiVir Free.

Maybe it does not include as many features as Avast!, but its superior detection ratio, plus its NOD32-comparable scanning speed, has made it my preferred free AV, and am now considering upgrading to the paid Premium version, which is also quite cheap compared to other products.

  4. Review - SUPERAntiSpyware Free Edition

    4.24.1004 (Dec 31, 2008)

Used to use Spybot Search & Destroy, but since some weeks ago, I passed to SuperAntiSpyware Free. Its detection ratios are far superior, plus its scanning speed. The only con, is a higher level of false positive, that hopefully would be improved with the quarantine submissions by users.

  5. Review - AVG Anti-Virus Free

    8.0.176a1400 (Dec 21, 2008)

Even if stated by Betanews that it works on 2003, it is not. You will need a server version in order to install it.

    Anyway, a good free AV.

  6. Comment - Office 2007 SP1 goes live, Windows XP SP3 RC1 follows along

    8.0.176a1400 (Dec 16, 2007 - 12:35 PM)

Since the beginings was promised to have native x64 support with SP1 in Office 2007... Now it has been release, but no support yet.

Too bad Microsoft does not believe on its bets.

  7. Comment - WinHEC 2007: What Did We Learn Today?

    Excelent review guys.

  8. Comment - AMD Claims of Intel Benchmarks 'Not Ethical' Scrutinized

    8.0.176a1400 (Mar 2, 2007 - 5:46 PM)

Let's wait for AMD to get the leadership again.

  9. Comment - Vista Minimum Requirements Unrealistic

  10. Comment - Adobe Releases Reader Version 8

    8.0.176a1400 (Dec 7, 2006 - 6:44 AM)

No x64 version, still slow and bloatted.
Better get Foxit as gemal suggested.
