  1. Review - ACDSee Pro

    2.0.174 Beta (Jun 28, 2007)

Acdsee, in my opinion has seen it's time and needs to retire. Acdsee has never been stable and seems to crash weekly. While it has some nice features like tif merge and built in picture editing, it also has a huge price tag. There are many free alternatives (some far superior)... Small footprint size and low resource usage are some critical things Acdsee never had.

    My Alternitives:
    - Picasa for photos and Online-Offline Albums.
    - Faststone Image Viewer (Standard Graphic viewer/Editor)

  2. Review - Mozilla Firefox for Windows (v3)

    3.0 Alpha 3 (Mar 26, 2007)

Amazing browser, keep up the great work!

This is an alpha release and should not be confused for a final product.

  3. Review - e

    1.1.115 Beta (Mar 23, 2007)

I had to install this product, something called bonjour and cygwin just to use a text editor?

After it was installed I fired it up, the UI looks like a freeware app and it has the same basic functions as every other editor (and a big price tag).

I have been to the website and installed the app, not impressed at all.

  4. Review - FastStone Capture

    4.7 (Oct 27, 2006)

Great program, use it for regional screen shots to send clients.

  5. Review - Picasa for Windows

    2.5.0 Build 32.67 Beta (Aug 18, 2006)

One of the best photo organizers I have ever used.

Only draw back is it really needs better folder support.

  6. Comment - Sony Throws Support Behind HD Radio

    2.5.0 Build 32.67 Beta (May 29, 2007 - 9:21 PM)

Radio is dead. Honestly, who listens to it anymore, sure maybe if your digital mp3/music player blows up, but I would just opt for silence rather then listen to inane commercials. Besides, there is nothing on the radio worth listening to. If per chance you find something half way decent to listen to (after you listen to the 10 seconds on the song you manage to hear) it will no doubt be followed by a Celiene Dion power block of shrieking cat noises. Why in the heck would you want to keep this antiquated monstrosity alive?
