  1. Review - Trojan Remover

    6.4.1 (Jul 23, 2005)

Totally inpractical product. No real time monitoring, no unpacking ability, slow scanner speed, and no spyware/adware detection. There is a couple half decent anti trojan products, but I wouldn't consider this one of them.

  2. Review - SnoopFree Privacy Shield

    1.0.4 Beta (Jul 24, 2004)

Another scam program that displays a bunch of dialogs constantly and calls that security.

  3. Review - Norton AntiVirus

    2005 Beta (Jun 29, 2004)

Norton AntiVirus isn't a practical product. Just the fact that Symantec wants you to pay for a subscription every year and upgrade to a newer version, shows they really don't care at all about their customers. I also wouldn't consider it even in the top 5 in detection of viruses, worms, and trojans.

  4. Comment - Struggling MovieBeam Sold for $10mn

    2005 Beta (Mar 10, 2007 - 8:55 PM)

An antenna to get the content, phone line for ordering, and it is expensive. What a joke.

  5. Comment - Microsoft, Yahoo to Link IM Networks

    2005 Beta (Oct 12, 2005 - 12:16 PM)

This should have happened like 3 years ago.

  6. Comment - FTC Asks Court to Shut Spyware Firm

    2005 Beta (Oct 5, 2005 - 3:27 PM)

What is stopping people from stealing personal information and launching malicious attacks if nothing is being enforced to stop them. Just like in real life, yea, you can do things to prevent your house from getting robbed but it is still mainly the fault of the person doing the crime.

  7. Comment - AOL Goes On Anti-Phishing Offense

    2005 Beta (Oct 5, 2005 - 3:24 PM)

AOL hasn't done anything to combat phishing in the last 5 years. AOL was one of the original targets of phishing attacks and is only using this as a marketing ploy.

  8. Comment - What Phishers Know That You Don't

    2005 Beta (May 2, 2005 - 10:20 PM)

BetaNews mentions everything except the only real solution which is taking legal action against phishers.
