    0.2.149.27 Beta (Sep 2, 2008)

Definitely opens faster than IE and FF. Rendering of pages is also a bit speedier. Did notice it has a problem with a dual monitor configuration, as it wants to assume the size of the primary display when dragged to the second display, and re-maximized.

    Technical Preview (Mar 20, 2004)

If you have a legitimately purchased key from an earlier release, it will not cause you any trouble. It works completely with XP SP1 VLKs.

    7.20 Beta 1 (Jul 5, 2003)

Opera still is a nice browser, voodoo. Avant still relies on IE to function.

  4. Review - Opera for Windows

    7.0 Beta 1 (Nov 13, 2002)

Much faster than MoZilla and IE, and certainly faster than Netscape 6/7. Loads pages quickly, even over dial-up. Excellent use of page history. Clicking back brings up the cached page a lot faster than IE. Why should we let MS tell us how web pages should look?

You can almost set your watch to MS vulnerabilities.
