   i have the hd dvd player for my 360. i love it because as a my sole dvd player... it takes the stress off the main drive of the 360. Also, there are many more movies on hd dvd that i will be purchasing when i get back home (im on the opposite coast right now)... i do care if hd-dvd fails, but there are still movies that i want that are in that format. otherwise i'll just buy dvds. i don't plan on getting bluray anytime soon. I do think that if microsoft does come out with a bluray drive... those that purchased the hd dvd addon should get some sort of discount on the drive.... a major discount actually.
