    It's nice, but not all that innovative. Android has a similar architecture, but much more credible backend support.

    Yes, the biggest problem with the Pre is the question: "what's in it for the developers"? Without attracting a significant developer community, Pre is DOA. In addition, the use of JavaScript makes compute-intensive applications impossible to write.
