I don't like uTorrent pushing the ask.com toolbar. In addition there is a sort of hidden downloads as Mamutu software warns " Program tries to download invisibly data from the internet"

The registry is the most Hideous piece of S**t invented in an Operating system ever. it is time to put it out of it's misery. Redundant entries can slow your computer, fragmentation can slow your computer, orphan entries can BSOD your computer...

  7. Comment - The Value Question: Is the Apple or Microsoft Family Pack the better deal?

    2.12.651 (Aug 2, 2009 - 3:05 AM)

The damages inflicted by Microsoft's applications on customers, because of crappy security, is measured in Billions of $ each year, due to servers crash, data lost, data theft, money spend on security hardware and software for networks and workstations. Microsoft's OP is the worst menace to society in the last 25 years and years to come.

There is a HUGE Microsoft tax to every PC, be it a $300 Netbook or a $5000 game machine.
First, Apple MacOS comes packed with iApplications that will cost Thousand of $ to buy compatible software for the PC. Then we have Hundreds $ for security application : Firewall, anti-virus, keyloggers, rootkits, bots,.. just to guard the Pc and OS . Not to mention the hours and money spent on restoring OS and data lost after the BSODs, viruses..... and bogus microsoft updates.
