   I have to give them credit it really does make Vista Run faster all around turn off all the needless crap that MS put in there by default and at times will not allow you to turn off...
   
   I did note in the version I tested they did not have the WGA MS Update processes listed for removal. I'm sure to make it legal... But the plugin for those do work with this program if you add them manually. Thus making this a must have tool for making your own Windows Vista DVD installation disc for your fair use how you wish to use it. Works nicely for VMWare images. ;)

   I have to admit I preferred the package when it would actually just Update instead of forcing a new download all the time, as it has been recently. Their reason? Not really much improvement in the software per say, but instead so they can push Toolbars on you. At least thats what it seems like to me. Yes they still allow an Opt out of it immediately without adverse effects. However its still do we really need to download a new engine Every few weeks? Why not just update the signatures as they used too? That simple reason for me has been a reason I have held off getting the Pro paid version, cause I honestly do not know how reliable they are going to stay with this trend.
   
   The tool itself is a good alternative to a Norton systemworks or MS onecare, whatever. There seems like there are dozens of them now of various quality. This one seems the best of the free ones thus far.

   Good program. Needs more moderation of active streams.

   HOWEVER It has both a 15-day timeout and fee associated with it. IMHO that makes that program very bad in comparison. I still prefer this program for this service, as every one of these streams are free to air, save for the adult content. The feature that MAKES this program so great is ability to add your own streams when you find them. so even if JLC does not have it listed, YOU can add it to your list on your own. Very nice feature... No one else does that on the same level as this program.

   Review - FinalBurner FREE

   1.23.0.113 (Oct 24, 2007)

   Works as intended. A good FREEware burning tool for the Alternative OSes then Vista. meaning 2000, XP, 2003. It is just as good as Nero for the same thing at zero cost and no trialware limitation that is in Roxio.
   
   Most OEMs seem to come with Nero or Roxio, but this is a great alternative for those that make their own machines and do not own the others options.
   
   The bluray img burn works well for data files. I have not tested it yet for disc copies. But I would assume as long as its properly decrypted it will also work for making BluRay movie copies.

   You have to play around with Orca a little bit for Windows 2000 to be good for everything. Its artificial limitations in most cases. Just take out the OS check and it works fine... BUT every once in a while there is a program that actually needs a little more then just the windows 200 kernel... Even I have to admit that. ;)

   I would not call windows 7 any more flawed then Vista or XP was. If it has IE in it Its going to be flawed. Besides the point Its not the OS that has the flaw its activation itself. Just like DRM. If it can be unlocked in any way, it can be cracked.... If you can see it happen it can be tracked and reverse engineered... Its as simple as that. That dear colleges is been the fundamental flaw in the Activation process from the beginning. All it was, was another puzzle for these people who get off on puzzles to solve. In the end the only one it hurts is the legitimate customer who has the deal with false negatives on genuine, or worse, in the original Vista releases case inability to use their purchased software any longer cause big brother decided they needed to buy it again cause they THINK your illegal. If a hacker wants something they will take it. It the way its always been, its the way it always will be. Legal customers will buy and those that want it illegally will not... They just got to hope there are more honest people then not in the market pull... If there isn't then give incentives for legality... Special features upgrades yadda yadda yadda... MS is finally starting to get that. and I have to give them at least that much credit...
   
   The key thing that makes ALL of MS vulnerable to begin with is normally IE when they made IE so integrated into the OS it could not be turned off or replaced THAT was put the OS at risk more then anything. Now with the EU lawsuits in windows 7 IE Is a component again and can be uninstalled and reinstalled, WITHOUT having to wipe out the computer to do so. Indeed it could theoretically be removed, but then you have to rely on SP issues for updates only from that point on... In some cases that could be a good thing. In others not... I can think of many computers that really do not want Internet access at all... especially in businesses... I haven't said much of late cause I was always so discussed with Vista from Alpha to beta to launch... Now MS sent me Windows 7 and I have to say THIS is what Vista SHOULD have been all along... the only disappointment is that its not just a SP to Vista to fix it the way it should be. BUT that being said, MS is making it really cheap. Really really cheap in comparison to Vistas prices. For businesses even more so... This OS I think will really be the one for MS again... Every once in a while I guess MS needs to make a huge flop in order to get themselves back on track with market demands again...
   
   Anyways. Just my 2 cents...

   Yea.. Whatever. CD to MP3, DVD to AVI. Both MP3 and AVI or mpg to my Archos to play when I go on the airplane or any other kind of trip. No difference at all... RIAA MPAA Whatever the heck you want to think. If there is a device that plays it in existence, which there has been for many many years already, then there are people making LEGALLY use of said device as they see fit. Till you go and rip it out of our dying hands and crush every such device in existence, there is nothing they can do about it. I DARE them to take 1 case to the US Supreme Court and risk another betamax ruling... Even as liberal as it is now. The precedence is ALREADY set for this and THEY KNOW IT. Thats why it never goes that high, and never will again.

   Too bad there is still little of any quality on the dam thing... I end up watching the legacy channels more then anything else cause those reruns are by far better then whats on the networks...
   
   TVland, TNT, TBS, Family, Lifetime, WGN, that kind of stuff is what I mean by legacy channels. Channels that run old tv shows in their line up. Stuff that I COULD add to my DVD collection at some point but for now, just watch em on TV while they last...

10. Comment - Courtroom webcast fight may delay RIAA trial

    Naturally the RIAA want to keep proceedings secret. They don't want the public to see what little these cases are based on. Cause such knowledge would be destructive to their business, as they could not hide behind their lies and spin to the result. Even when they loose they throw millions at it till they win through attrition, by the opposing side not being able to equally throw the same money at the problem to match their endless appeals. As has been the case at EVERY loss the RIAA or MPAA has EVER had. the Victims never have a snowballs chance in hell to go to court forever like these things that represent the RIAA do. And thus eventually the RIAA wins cause the other side can not afford to defend themselves anymore.
    
    So even when found innocent they remain guilty till they spend enough money to make them guilty. Thats the new meranda these things believe in. Welcome to Socialism folks. And every dollar you give to them, goes straight to the efforts to continue this travesty. Not a dime goes to an artist. Is it any wonder artist around the world are abandoning the studio system and going to the web to sell their wares?
