Please people, try to think beyond your parents front door or your dorm room! There are millions of computer users out in the "real" world that don't drool over the next mega 3d game for id software or valve. This computer would be great for several of my users in a business world. Right now, some of our sales force are lugging around notebooks that are far more powerfull then they need for the applications that we run. Most of our sales support apps are web based and run on the server. They only need a computer with a web browser to run. Why would I want to spend $1500.00 on a notebook, when this $500 one has everything those users need?

If sony would include a DTV tuner to allow this unit to tune in and record HDTV programs, then this would be the coolest box to go on top of a tv. Hell, enclude a DirecTV tunner in it for those in North America. Sony makes those too so it shouldn't be to hard.

Anyone want to be money that MS is the first (and maybe only) one to announce a delay in shipping? And I will also bet that Nintendo will not need any patches, since i have never ever had to patch one. I will go farther and say I guarantee that MS will have to patch their consol within 90 days of release.
Anyhow, I plan to just by new games for my PS2. I don't think the Xbox is going to be worth it for at least 6 months, and the Gamecube will not be a big enough jump from the PS2 for me to pay for.
