Very good! Fast when both indexing and searching. And searching produces very relevant results. IMHO Mo-Search is better than google, copernic and microsoft desktop search. If I did not have this tool I would be much less productive. Check it out!
3.0 Beta 6 (2.99.6.5130) (May 15, 2006)
Decent tool, freeware, bunches of ways to filter what you are searching for, But, very slow when searching for text in files. For full text searching, you are much better with Copernic (freeware) or Mo-Search (also freeware).
4.42 (May 15, 2006)
Best mainstream compression tool when you need maximum compression. If you want a more balanced tool go with WinRar, but for best compression go 7-zip!
3.60 Beta 3 (May 15, 2006)
Best archival tool hands down! Best combination of speed, compression ratio, ease of use, beauty. For slightly better compression at the expense of everything else, check out 7-Zip.
4.0 (May 15, 2006)
Not too bad! Has lots of useful options and search criteria. Small download and overall pretty useful. But it is shareware (has annoying register-me pop ups) and does much of what Windows integrated search does. For most people, there are better freeware tools. For people that need to search by very precise criteria then this will probably meet your need. And it has an old timey gui :-)

Microsoft is no stranger to the receiving end of anti-competitive allegations. And, their accusers are often quietly dismissed via some form of: small payments/incentives, clever deal brokering, (pseudo)partnerships, or even more aggressive behavior. Well, not this time....
