firefox rocks, but why would i have to uninstall 1.0 ton install a patch? seems like i should just be able to install a patch without having to uninstall the whole program. i mean would it make sense to uninstall windows xp just to install service pack 2?
2.0.0 Build 18.84 (Feb 18, 2005)
absolutely incredible! picasa has it all! excellent gui (although there are somethings that could be better placed, like making an image your wallpaper from the right click menu), auto resizing when printing, pretty good editing tools for the home user, email, integration with Hello, auto scans, etc, etc, i could go on but you get it. we have removed all other photo image editors and viewers that we have ever had or downloaded. the buck stops with Picasa....now if they would only release a linux version....
Beta (Oct 15, 2004)
Metshrine - i agree with you, this application is awesome and extremely fast. i have used google.com since its inception and i have always trusted them. if they sold home security systems i would be first in line :o)
great product that will only get better as beta users use it more and supply google with testing info, just like you would with any other beta. google beat everyone to the punch with this little super app.
10.0 Beta 027 (Oct 15, 2004)
overall this is a very good IE replacements. love tabbed browsing although i like the way mozilla/firefox puts a close button for tabs on the tab browser line, not up under the application close buttons like opera does.
one other thing is that after i installed avant i kept getting a pop-up that said my system settings had changed and i needed to reboot my pc. always said no to this and dont know what it was. spyware scans came up empty. uninistalled avant and i dont get them anymore. anyone know what that was?
