  1. Review - Opera for Windows

    8.50 (Sep 20, 2005)

I've never been a fan of opera, simply because of their pricing. I have to completely agree with this move. I use Firefox, but it's nice to know that there is yet one more great free alternative to IE. Any free browser that is not IE is good in my book.

  2. Review - SeaMonkey for Windows

    1.0 Alpha (Sep 19, 2005)

The name of this application is Seamonkey. The App is not made by Mozilla. With that being said, nothing beats this app suite. Firefox is great, but it's nice having all the apps built into 1 suite, instead of installing several different apps.

  3. Review - Mozilla Firefox for Windows (v2)

    1.5 Beta 1 (Sep 8, 2005)

This has fixed SEVERAL bugs I had with 1.0x.

And... alot of extensions are *usable* you just have to edit install.rdf. But that doesn't mean that the extensions are compatible.

I don't like the last minute changes to the menus to make them "look better with XP Luna"... but that's what userchrome.css is for.

Bottom line, this release is only to show off the upcoming Firefox 1.5. This build is FAR superior to Firefox 1.0 IMHO.

  4. Review - Miranda IM

    0.4 RC2 (Jan 20, 2005)

Not too bad a program... It's got potential.

  5. Comment - Dell plans pay reductions, product feature removal, and over 8,800 job cuts

    0.4 RC2 (Apr 3, 2008 - 5:30 PM)

    That comment isn't much smarter.

  6. Comment - Safari license says non-Apple hardware installs are prohibited

    0.4 RC2 (Mar 27, 2008 - 1:03 PM)

That is absolutely hilarious! Thanks for the laugh!

  7. Comment - Despite rumors, Windows XP SP3 still not quite ready

    0.4 RC2 (Mar 26, 2008 - 10:25 PM)

I stopped using IE a LONG time ago. I urge you and everyone else to either do the same or at least try a different browser. Most (yes, not all, their mistake) websites are compatible with Firefox. If they aren't, in my opinion, they are lazy.

... And... What's wrong with Vista SP1?? It's a MAJOR improvement. No problems at all. Computer is running very smooth.

  8. Comment - Despite rumors, Windows XP SP3 still not quite ready

    0.4 RC2 (Mar 26, 2008 - 10:22 PM)

"no one is interested in what you have to say."

Stop talking about yourself. Good bye!

  9. Comment - DirecTV to launch an on-demand service via IPTV

    0.4 RC2 (Mar 13, 2008 - 9:30 PM)

I have this service on my HR21. Works pretty good, but there is not enough available. Hopefully that will change when it comes out of beta.
