Like gosherm1, I too did the 'upgrade' year after year until through this past year.
However, after having to uninstall and re-install Antivirus one a near monthly basis I jumped ship.
I'm now using MS OneCare and while not as advanced as System Works, it all I "need."
So, Norton, Symantec - see ya.
PS. I've been using 'Norton' since the late 80s and was a dedicated soul to them until recently. Finally I woke up and decided that if they didn't care enough to fix their product, why should I keep buying it.

I manually updated my NAV (which came with SW2004) on 8/10.
Since that time it has notified SP2's Security Center that it is functioning.
The weird thing, to me, was that after the update NAV recommended NOT enabling it's ability to notify other programs (Security Center) that it was enabled/installed - I ignored it's recommendation.

After years and at least 4 full version changes of Adaptec/Roxio I have never been happy with their software, in fact, neither has Windows XP.
Roxio 5, 6 and 7 all crashed my Explorer more times then I care to remember.
I switched to Sonic for another hundred or so bucks and have never looked back.
I love Sonic and hope that they KILL off every piece of Roxio and keep adding featurs and functionality to the Sonic line of products.

I've seen a similar problem on my system.
When I load a video file to play (MPEG2 from a ReplayTV) the audio starts up rigt away, but the video doesn't appear until about 2-3 seconds later.
All the video and audio are there, I can rewind and get back to the first second or two of video - It's just sluggish.

PS. I use Sonic's MPEG2 codec.

Memory cards (SD, etc) can not be accessed with this latest version of Media Player.
The program will show me the Pocket PC's folders as well as a seperate folder for the "File Store" memory. But not the 256MB SD Memory card where I store my music.
Too bad, because it performs a quicker with my large database of songs. :(
