   Review - Google Deskbar

   0.5.67 Beta (Nov 10, 2003)

   seems to work adequately, but accesses my net connection even when not using it, with the statistics function turned off. also, none of the various configurations i tried would let me click on a link from the mini window, and have the link open either in the mini window, or a seperate browser window. the only way it would function was if i had it open everything in an IE window. i think i prefer just having a link in my IE toolbar. besides, taskbar real estate is pretty limited anyway. and unless you want to double the size (not really an option with a 15in lcd), it eats up too much room.

   6.0.0.19 (Oct 1, 2003)

   jackbridgman sounds like a perfect candidate for a Mac, computers for people who don't know how to operate a computer. Used Nero after giving up on Easy CD Creator when XP came out. Never had a problem. Works, updates, burns without toasting flawlessly. Pay the money, buy the program, and leave the freebie programs for the leechers.

   I continue to be amazed at the number of people who make a comment, seem to be intellegent, communicative people, yet have no concept of grammar, diction, of spelling. Please, for crying out loud, LEARN TO WRITE, you idiots!
