  1. Review - Microsoft Internet Explorer for Windows XP

    7.0.5450.4 Beta 3 (Jul 31, 2006)

It was very difficult to install and I had to change some the permissions on my registry.
There are a lot of new features like anti-phishing that function very well. My belief is that this could be an excellent default browser.

  2. Review - Microsoft Internet Explorer for Windows XP

    7.0 Beta 2 Preview (Feb 1, 2006)

    I can not install IE7.

  3. Review - AOL Instant Messenger for Windows

    1.0.2 Final (Nov 26, 2005)

The is no point to Triton if you can't log in.
After a number of attempts, I gave up. In several forums many people mentioned that they had the same connectivity issues. If I am not mistaked, the AIM AOL staff never proposed a workaround for this.
I checked my firewall. I installed several times.
I can log in with my regular login on the AOL pages.
This maybe a final version, however I am looking forward for a upgrade.

  4. Review - Netscape Navigator for Windows

    8.0 Beta (Mar 3, 2005)

It was very unstable and slow. Netscape 8 crashed twice. The idea of RSS on one of the bars is a good idea if you can choose your feed (maybe they can develope that idea in the next versions).
I like the ability to choose your browser engine(NS or IE).
After an hour, I uninstalled Netscape 8. My impression was that there was a clear vision of features in a very rough, early and prototypical version.

  5. Review - Mozilla Firefox for Windows (v2)

    1.0 Preview Release Candidate (0.10rc) (Sep 12, 2004)

Actually it is _1.0_ RC and not 0.1.

  6. Comment - Safari for Windows Tops 1 Million Downloads

    1.0 Preview Release Candidate (0.10rc) (Jun 16, 2007 - 3:02 PM)

I can not install Safari on my computer.

  7. Comment - AOL Pulls Plug on Newsgroup Service

    1.0 Preview Release Candidate (0.10rc) (Jan 25, 2005 - 12:28 PM)

I am very sorry to read about that. The Usenet was my first Internet experience. Its content is very rich. On a daily basis, I go into my favorite newsgroup. I would recommend it to anyone.
