Yes, it is only Microsoft that gets sued. I read an article that states: "There are also enhancements for Apple users who require graphics processing. QuickTime video moves to version 7 and, like Spotlight, is built into the core of the operating system, speeding tasks such as videoconferencing". I wonder if the EU will sue Apple now and force them to release a version of OS X 10.4 without Quicktime.

I have to agree that I feel that MSN does not get as much news coverage. I didn't even know they had a maps service - and it covers Australia as well, unlike other map services - until I read this article. Come to think of it, I remember Betanews covering the Google maps, yet I don't recall seeing the article regarding changes MSN's map service on Betanews' front page despite a link being included in this article. Perhaps I just missed it, I don't know.

I wonder if Apple chose Blu-ray simply because Microsoft's VC-9 was announced as mandatory for the HD-DVD video specification for playback devices.
Simple case of choosing the other technology because a competitor already has inroads into the other competing technology???

In terms of functionality, the map took over 10 seconds to load on first view - not the best.
"Maps can be dragged to view adjacent areas, which means users do not have click and wait for graphics to reload. Zooming is also instantaneous with the help of a slider placed atop the map."
Well, no, this was not the case as adjacent areas had to load and appeared in square sections, and likewise with zooming - EXTREMELY far from instantaneous as the whole map had to reload.
Overall, okay, but the article is hyping functionality that does not exist.
