  1. Review - VoipBuster

    2.06 Build 166 Beta (Aug 10, 2005)

I thought it was pretty cool. I don't have a mic or handset but I called my home and talk to myself through the phone and I could hear myself on the computer really clear. There is a delay but if it is free I could live with that. BTW U.S. country code is +00 since I didn't know and it wasn't on their website. Now I must go and buy a headset cause it will save me and my wife alot of money since all of our family lives over 1000 miles away!

Here is a link to country codes

  2. Review - FastStone Image Viewer

    2.12 Beta (Jun 6, 2005)

I have about 6 or 7 different image browsers installed on my pc and I must say that I'm really coming around to loving this software. The approach of being able to use nearly if not all functions in full screen is what really attracts me to this program. It loads really quick which is another 5 star rating from me.

  3. Review - Microsoft Internet Explorer for Windows XP

    6.0.2600.0 Final (Aug 29, 2001)

So far I've had no problems with IE6. It installed pretty straight forward and it's faster at accessing the content. But why does mine visually look the same as IE5.5? The screenshot looks nothing like mine. Is that because you have to have XP? Other than that no crashes and I really like the auto image sizing.

  4. Comment - Comcast will cut back some customers' speeds after FCC order

    6.0.2600.0 Final (Aug 21, 2008 - 7:26 PM)

Does anyone know of a meter that I can use to see my usage?
I have 2 laptops one for me and one for my wife. 3 media center pc's with netflix installed, and 1 media server. On my pc's I use vpn for work in the evenings, netflix on 3 media pc's, but I also have webguide 4 to stream from my media center to my pc at work.

  5. Comment - Blockbuster drops its Circuit City buyout bid

    6.0.2600.0 Final (Jul 2, 2008 - 8:11 PM)

Someone needs to buy this company and overhaul their staff. I work in a customer service oriented business and "customer service" is almost nonexistent in any of the Circuit City stores that I have attended. I can walk around the store for 30min without anyone asking me if I need help and I can only assume that is because they are mostly young kids that don't give a crap to begin with.
There has also been many occasions in the past where I order online and pickup in the store, get there an hour later and my stuff isn't pulled. I then have to wait an additional 30min for them to retrieve my order while they drift around the store (however I have gotten 5 $24 gift cards this year). Then after checking out go to leave and the alarm goes off and I stop and look for someone to show them my receipt and there is no one even looking!. Of course I go looking for someone and tell them I set the alarm off and they still do not even look at my receipt, they just tell me "go ahead, it's ok". WTF kind of company can remain open operating like this?

I now do all of my shopping at Best Buy even tho they tend to be a little more expensive in most of my cases.

  6. Comment - Sprint Continues to Bleed Customers, Profit Plummets

    6.0.2600.0 Final (Nov 1, 2007 - 9:07 PM)

Me and my wife has Nextel as does the company that I work for which has over 800 nextel phones can attest that their service sucks. Many and I do mean many times someone can call me and it goes straight to voice mail without the phone even ringing for no reason or someone can leave me a voice mail and it does not pop up on my i930 almost 24hrs later.

Considering the cost of service vs the other service companies this is completely uncalled for. If it wasn't for the "need" to have Nextel due to customers I deal with on a regular basis I would have been gone a long time ago.

  7. Comment - Rep. Boucher Asks Comcast to Stop Blocking BitTorrent

    6.0.2600.0 Final (Oct 25, 2007 - 9:02 PM)

What do you do for a living? You seem like you could possibly be a lawyer or someone in that field. Not flaming or being a smart***, just wondering where all of this knowledge comes from.
