"Still one of the best", is very accurate when comparing anti-spy/ad/malware products.
This version comes packaged with HOSTS file modification to block shareaza.com, which has been an illegitimate website for many weeks now...the REAL Shareaza does not use that domain anymore. This is an excellent job on SpyBot's part to update so quickly, and the MVPS.org HOSTS file doesn't cover it yet!
Five thumbs up to SpyBot.

Still the best and only. It's great for general virus-hunting as well; include it in your cleaning-apps toolbox.
3.0.2.2 (Sep 5, 2007)
Since May of 2006, I haven't been able to settle on a new torrent client until recently.
Azureus/Vuze gets the Jon8RFC seal of approval.
7.0.1.2 (Jun 12, 2007)
The status bar for scanning is my favorite part of AAW 2007.
I don't want to discourage use of 2007 (I will use 2007 exclusively from now on), but it feels sluggish when attempting to update the program and definitions.
I don't know what it is, but something in the GUI feels incomplete. AAW 1.06r1 was easy for beginners to navigate, but I suspect beginners will be asking questions on how to use AAW 2007.
Overall, I think this version is moving in the right direction, but something is odd about the GUI, which wasn't caught during beta testing.

In response to "I wouldn't have been surprised to see them openly dump a "hacked" copy on bittorrent or most other P2P apps just to cut down on the pirating"...hehe, actually, they WERE behind this entirely, and that's exactly what they did. http://halflife2.filefro...arez_Version_Info;13907
