    Microsoft needs to dummy up about the "10 million" number because there is no way they are going to sell through that number by the end of the year.

    #'s sold to retail DON'T COUNT. That's the game Sony played for years. They are currently sitting at 7.8 million sold through to consumers which means they need to sell 2.2 million in December. That's 4 times the number they have sold in their best selling months.

    The question in my mind is "Are the dogs capable of distinguishing bootleg DVDs from normal DVDs?" If they aren't then this is all a colossal waste of time. There are underground DVDs that are so sharply produced it's hard for anyone to tell them apart from legitimate pressings.

    If the dogs are sniffing out printer ink (used for dustjackets) or sharpie pen (used to mark CDs and DVDs) then it's equally useless.
