  1. Review - Agnitum Outpost Firewall Pro (32-bit)

    4.0.1007.7323 (591) (Apr 12, 2007)

Memory consumption bug with logging enabled has still not been fixed. This bug has existed since version 1.0! What is Agnitum thinking?

Otherwise, this is a great firewall.

  2. Review - TextPad

    5.0 (Mar 17, 2007)

Sure, zridling, UltraEdit has a "lifetime license" available, but it's not the default. To get one copy of the UltraEdit-only lifetime-upgrade license, it will cost you $125.

  3. Review - UltraEdit

    13.00 (Mar 17, 2007)

I used to love UltraEdit, and now I have ~8 second startups too! I've seen mainframes boot faster than this digital turd with no quality control loads.

  4. Review - RoboForm

    6.9.0 (Mar 12, 2007)

It's splendid, but the fact that it provides NO WAY to import data from other password managers is perfectly idiotic. I'll never be able to switch to RoboForm until they get around to adding real import/export features.

I can't stand working with it, and hate the interface.

  8. Comment - Microsoft: First Month Vista Sales Double XP

What do you mean "surprisingly"? It's not surprising at all.

What is surprising is that so many people still don't get it.

  9. Comment - Microsoft: First Month Vista Sales Double XP

"youhave no choice and you'll end in front of the pestilent Vista on your new computer. That's monopoly,

Choosing to stop selling a product that has been replaced does *NOT* make you a monopoly, genius."

Oh yeah, right. Except that's completely besides the point. Microsoft is a monopoly because if you want to use a PC in the "real world" you have to use an MS OS. If the PC market switches to Vista, then you will have to switch to Vista too. That means you have no choice but to buy Vista or pirate it. Still, you will be using Vista.

When a company controls the market like this, it is a monopoly and should not be treated the same as other companies.

  10. Comment - MySpace to Offer Episodes of '24'

Lord help us when we have to pay for each episode of what ever.. ** maby it will help product prices go down because they will not be paying for the adverts.. Doubt it.
