2.0 Beta 2 (Apr 5, 2007)
I've used Diskeeper, Perfect Disk, O&O Pro; none reduce your defrag needs to a simple and effective program like this one. The cost factor if you’re a repeat customer makes total sense. I’ve had Magical Defrag and Ultimate Defrag 1.48, and found the later below expectations. I say the hype with Diskeeper and the rest of the name brands might be worth it , but mst Defrag is one of the best defrag programs dollar for dollar that’s available, it’s a gem for $9.99.
1.1 Final (May 14, 2004)
This is the best freeware program I have ever used. When GetRight,DAP and all the $20 plus programs jam up your CPU, download this program, you won't be sorry.I believe the only difference between this freeware program, and the shareware version depends if your using it for commercial purposes. I'd give it a 5 but there is no such thing.I want to see more programs like this
2.0 (Mar 16, 2004)
I've tested 3 levels of Defragmentor. The Premium edition offers some decent features. The Lite and the Premium are O.K.,although the freeware is really weak. I would suggest you look around before you buy.
2.03A (Mar 14, 2004)
There are many different approachs to memory management. AMS does maintain low resource usage which is a a plus, but I really didn't see the need for some of the bells and whistles in the Pro edition.Seems fast, worth looking into for the price $9,but mediocre overall
9.0 (Feb 25, 2004)
I tested the Beta for what seemed a very long time, and although it was a good program to have in the Win98 days, the Xp enviornment is more suited for WinrRar, and the more "ease of functionlity" programs. Alot of people will stick with it though,I have it, but would like to move on.

I am 56 the only reason I mention that is, in 1995 Microsoft charged a nominal price for Windows95,although times and technologies have changed the operating costs that you and me and the worlds businesses are coughing up to feed our desire to procure the best software is beginning to get alarming. We are headed for a computing future based not on fair business practices, but costs, and Microsoft is leading the way.

I never comment about these things so I don't see why I should start now.
