  1. Review - WhoCrashed

    1.00 (Dec 15, 2008)

Well I got me XP SP3 + a whole host of other things running. The software installed and ran with no problem. It did leave a registry entry behind when I uninstalled it though.
    Current User\Software\Resplendence Sp\WhoCrashed
    Got potential for sure though

  2. Review - TV-Browser for Windows

    2.7.2 RC3 (Dec 8, 2008)

I so much like this software, presently running it alongside DigiGuide in the UK (DigiGuide does cost though). If the beta versions of TV-Browser are anything to go by, this is gonna rock before long. Give the developers time to get things running smoothly and who knows - the US could even get covered.

  3. Review - RemoveIT Pro

    v4 - SE (5.9.2008) (Sep 5, 2008)

States here - freeware - but you have to pay $15 for a license to use it! On Home Page the only free thing is a free scan. In fairness I haven't done this but I guess it is like other similar software in that if something is detected you gotta pay ....
Having read about it, if it does what it says on the box it is very good.

  4. Review - Mozilla Firefox for Windows (v3)

    3.0 Beta 4 (Mar 10, 2008)

Wow - speed at last! I use Mr Tech Toolkit to make most of my extensions compatible, the rest I hope will be updated asap. A Firefox user since very early days, this beta rocks. Can't wait for the final release.

  5. Review - Kaspersky Anti-Virus

    8.0.0.202 Beta (Jan 26, 2008)

I recently paid for a two year key but had to go over to Comodo Free AV because KAV slowed my system down too much (even with their patch). Don't get me wrong, I still think KAV is the best out there but until they resolve the speed issue I have, and others, I can not recommend it.

  6. Comment - Firefox hits 1 billion downloads!

    8.0.0.202 Beta (Jul 31, 2009 - 4:33 AM)

I am one of the portable Firefox users which is downloaded from a different site. I guess they haven't included that. All said - competition is vital as it makes developers get the most from their product. Well done to the Firefox team (and John Haller and his team for portable Firefox), a great product.

  7. Comment - Mozilla updates its Fennec mobile browser alpha

    8.0.0.202 Beta (Dec 29, 2008 - 12:41 PM)

I do like what I read about Mozilla Fennec. Let's give the Mozilla org a chance and see what develops down the line. IMHO, can't come soon enough. I am not knocking other good mobile browsers which are out there but it is only by high profile competition they will also get better.

  8. Comment - Hubble Space Telescope crashes again, and fix may not come until February

    8.0.0.202 Beta (Oct 18, 2008 - 7:24 AM)

Needs a woman's touch and a hair grip although Brits will probably agree a Blue Peter (BBC children's TV program) presenter should be sent up there with a breakfast cereal box, some tape and a hair grip. LOL
Seriously though, with technology changing at the speed it is, maybe it is time to send the ol' lady into the darkness of space and replace her with something more modern.

  9. Comment - Amid hints of Firefox Mobile alphas, 'Fennec' moves forward

    8.0.0.202 Beta (Oct 8, 2008 - 4:55 AM)

About time, then we can really let the battle commence.

  10. Comment - Skype 4.0 Beta 2 shrinks window, hints at Mac support?

    8.0.0.202 Beta (Oct 2, 2008 - 3:27 PM)

A company that listens to it's customers. So rare these days!
